The Temple of the Reclining Buddha

The Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) is the first grade royal monastery, regarded as the most important one during the reign of King Rama 1 of the Chakri Dynasty. By the great restorations and additions, these were done to use this temple as the center of Thai arts and knowledge, where descendants can study indefinitely.

The Reclining Buddha, which is very well worth seeing, is the largest and most beautiful piece of fine arts of the Buddha image in this kind of position found in Thailand, with the dimensions of 15 meters high and 46 meters long. The image was made of stuccoed bricks gilded with gold leaves. The sole of the statue's feet are inlaid with mother-of -pearl showing the 108 auspicious signs of the Buddha, portraying natural scenes of both Indian and Chinese influences.
The Monastery is opened daily from 8.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.

Bring Peace back to Thailand

From May 19 until now, 27 burnt buildings have been seen by people who pass those locations. I am sure that everyone has the same feeling of sadness, disappointment and despair. Damages occur to all businesses in Thailand, especially tourism industry has been deteriorated and needs a long time to recover.

What we need now is the reconcilation of Thai people. And after our management, Thailand will surely become a nice country of tourist's destination again.

Wonderful Trip at Kanchanaburi

One day Trip at Kanchanaburi, 130 kilometers, northwest of Bangkok, is very interesting.
Because of a lot of attractions here, so we have to depart Bangkok early about 6.30 A.M. to take 2 hours driving to hit there.
Firstly, we will visit the War Cemetary where endless rows of war graves mark the resting places of 6,982 of those allied soldiers. As the incidents which occured in World War 2 have recently and quite by chance led to the discovery of neolithic burial sites in the region, it was from here that the Japanese put the Allied prisonersof war to work to construct 415 km. of railway leading to the three pagodas pass at the MyanMar border. It is estimated that 100,000 oppressed labourers as well as 16,000 Allied prisoners of war lost their lives due to beatings, starvation, overwork and malaria when constructing the railroad.

After visiting this worth place, we head to walk along the Death Railway at the Bridge of the River Kwai. The original one is no longer exist, and the present one is for railway use and allow people and motorbike to cross. I'm sure that walking on this railway is one of the exciting thing to do.

The Bridge of the River Kwai is the world famous from the 7 Oscars Hollywood film in 1957, including Best Actor (William Holden) and Best Director( David Lean).

More attractions as we would like you to see as follow:

Chonk-Kai War Cemetary:
The second War Cemetary which is very peaceful and have an attractively landscape.

Monkey School :
You gonna like them. They are so smart and so cute.

Elephant Trekking and Bamboo Rafting:
Experience such an adventure

Escape from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi for this trip, I am sure that you will feel relax and enjoy spending time in nature. Please don't miss!

Ayutthaya Tour

Only 85 kilometers far from Bangkok, about 1 hour 15 minutes driving, the ruins of Ayutthaya stand as a fascinating link with Thailand's past. In 1350 , Ayutthaya became the second capital of Siam and the city expanded into a great trading center with China and Europe. It prospered for four centuries until 1767 when the invading Myanmar, after four years of war, completely destroyed the city, leaving only the ruins which can be seen today.
You can return from Ayutthaya to Bangkok by air conditioned river cruises, making the journey one way back by the river, lunch and refreshments served on board.

Places of Interest

1.Summer Palace( Bang Pa-In Palace) is a historical site greatly valued for its history and its beauty comprised of several mansions, royal residencesand residences built in both Thai and international architectural styles. This Palace is a good source of knowledge and understanding of the country's artistic cultural heritage.

2.Wat Yai Chai-monkol, was built by King U-thong in 1357 A.D.The large pagoda can be seen from a great distance to commemmorate the auspicious victory of King Naresuen over Myammar.

3.Wat Maha Tart. The construction was begun during 1374 A.D. and was completed during the reign of King Ramesuan (1388-1395 A.D.).This royal monastery served as the seat of the Sangaraja, the head of the Buddhist monks of the Kamavasi section. The Lord Buddha's head covered by the tree is very famous and become the main attraction to visit here, even though there is no clear historical evidence of it.

4.Wat Chaiwatthanaram, was built in 1630 A.D. The architecture was similar to that of Angkor Wat and was inferred that the temple might have been built to commemmorate the king's victory over Cambodia

Take Canal Tour with Boat Trip. A lot of fun!

Before the arrival of the motorcars, boats were the main waterway transportation. In Bangkok, sightseeing by boat offers visitors short tours with commentary on the main riverside sights, such as the Grand Palace and the temple of the dawn.

Bangkok used to be known as the Venice of the Far East for all the watery arteries connecting to the main vein-Chao Phraya river(the river of kings). Taking a long-tail boat tour of a few of these canals on the Thonburi side of the river, like Bangkok Noi(little) and Bangkok Yai(big) with breaks at the temple of dawn and the Royal Barges Museum is a great wat to immerse yourself in Thai history and this experience will inspire you a real buzz of excitement you won't find anywhere else.
